Greene County is located in west-central Alabama, bordered on the west by the Tombigbee River and on the east by the Black Warrior River. The county is home to over 8,400 residents and spans almost 650 square miles. Eutaw, the county’s largest city, is known for its annual Black Belt Folk Roots Festival that showcases the region’s culture and traditions.
