Perry County is located in west-central Alabama south of Bibb County. Encompassing over 719 square miles, the county is home to parts of the Talladega National Forest and the Cahaba River. Perry County is also home to Judson College, Alabama’s only college for women, and Marion Military Institute. As one of the state’s smallest counties by population, Marion County has nearly 9,500 residents.
