Welcome to the city of Ashville

Ashville, originally called St. Clairsville, is one of two county seats in St. Clair County, the other being Pell City; it is located in north-central Alabama. Schools in Ashville are part of the St. Clair County School District. The city has just over 2,250 residents and is home to The John Looney Pioneer Homestead, a popular historic site.
