The city of Demopolis is located in west-central Alabama at the confluence of the Tombigbee and Black Warrior rivers. As the largest city in Marengo County, Demopolis is known as “The City of the People” with over 7,000 residents and two industrial parks. The city is rich with history and culture as the site of the Geneva Mercer Museum and Bluff Hall, the oldest historic residence listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
