Welcome to the town of Epes

Epes is located in east-central Sumter County in the west-central part of the state. Epes's eastern town limit abuts the Tombigbee River. The Port of Epes currently is a shipping point for wood products and other commodities. Fort Tombecbe is located just north of Epes and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
