Welcome to the city of Hamilton

The city of Hamilton is located in the hills of northwest Alabama along the Buttahatchee River, 50 miles east of Tupelo, Mississippi. As the county seat of Marion County, Hamilton is home to over 6,700 residents and Bevil State Community College. Manufacturing employs around 24 percent of the city’s workforce and Hamilton is currently building its second industrial park.
