Welcome to the town of Killen

The town of Killen is located in Lauderdale County in northwest Alabama and is part of the Muscle Shoals metropolitan area. Encompassing 1.9 square miles, Killen was founded on the Muscle Shoals Canal and is home to nearly 1,000 residents today. The town offers a municipal park, public library and senior center. Additionally, the town hosts its annual Killen Founder’s Day event in August.
