Lanett is a city in Chambers County, Alabama. The city is located in eastern Alabama, on the Chattahoochee River, southwest of Atlanta. Lanett is home to the Griggs-Simmons House; Homeland, the Boykin House; Old Lanett High School; and Temple Beth-El all listed on the Alabama Register of Landmarks and Heritage.
