Welcome to the town of Margaret

The town of Margaret is located in southwest St. Clair County in north-central Alabama. Originally a company town, Margaret was founded in 1908 when the Alabama Fuel and Iron Company was constructed in the area. Today the town spans 9.3 square miles and is home to over 4,500 residents.
