Welcome to the city of Marion

The city of Marion is the county seat of Perry County, located in west-central Alabama along the Cahaba River and the Talladega National Forest. Known as the “College City,” Marion is the home of Judson College and Marion Military Institute. With over 3,400 residents, the city offers several historical attractions, including the Alabama Women’s Hall of Fame, the Alabama Military Hall of Honor Museum, and the home of Coretta Scott King.
