Welcome to the town of Mulga

The town of Mulga is located in Jefferson County in central Alabama, situated north of Birmingham. The town was originally a housing community for Birmingham Coal and Iron Company employees who worked in the nearby Mulga Mine. Encompassing 0.6 square miles, Mulga is home to over 820 residents today.
