town of Munford

Welcome to the town of Munford

The town of Munford is located in northeastern Talladega County in central Alabama, intersected by State Highway 21. Settled in the early 1830s, Munford is the location of the last Civil War battle, the Battle of Munford on April 23, 1865. Today the town is home to over 1,260 residents and offers several recreational amenities, including baseball and football fields, a community center, and the Cheaha State Park.
