Welcome to the city of Pinson

The city of Pinson is located in Jefferson County in central Alabama and is part of the Birmingham Metropolitan Area with over 7,000 residents. As one of the oldest communities in the state, Pinson is home to Turkey Creek Nature Preserve and the Palmerdale Homesteads. Around 30,000 people visit the city every year for the Alabama Butterbean Festival, which is one of the “100 Best Festivals in the United States.”
