The town of Pleasant Groves is located in west-central Jackson County in the extreme northeastern corner of Alabama. Pleasant Groves lies northwest of 69,000-acre Guntersville Lake, which offers numerous recreational opportunities including boating and fishing. The town maintains a municipal park that features a pavilion, baseball and softball fields, and outdoor volleyball and basketball courts.
