Welcome to the city of Satsuma

The city of Satsuma is located in Mobile County in southwest Alabama and is a suburb of the City of Mobile. Known for its Satsuma Oranges, the city used to be called “Fig Tree Island” and boasted in a thriving citrus and pecan agricultural industry. Satsuma is home to over 6,000 residents and is listed on the Alabama Register of Landmarks and Heritage.
