Welcome to the town of Sweet Water

The town of Sweet Water is located in Marengo County, 24 miles south of the city of Linden. Founded in 1840, the town was named for Sweet Water Creek which runs through a section of the community. Encompassing a total of two square miles, Sweet Water is home to 258 residents.
