Sylvan Springs is a town located in Jefferson County in north-central Alabama, 20 minutes northwest of Birmingham. Encompassing 3.5 square miles, Sylvan Springs is predominately a residential community with over 1,500 residents. The town offers a community center and a municipal park with a nature trail.
