Taylor is located in both Geneva County and Houston County. Home to over 2,000 residents, Taylor’s 7.4 square miles is bordered to the northeast by Dothan, to the southeast by Rehobeth, and to the southwest by Malvern. Alabama State Route 52 passes through the northern part of Taylor.
