The city of Tuscumbia is located in the Tennessee River Valley in northwest Alabama and is part of The Shoals metropolitan area. Nicknamed the “Charm of the Shoals,” Tuscumbia is the birthplace of Helen Keller and home to the Alabama Music Hall of Fame. As the county seat of Colbert County, the city has over 8,500 residents and a large industrial area.
