The city of Winfield is located in northwest Alabama at the foothills of the Appalachian Mountain range, 26 miles east of the Mississippi border. The city has nearly 4,600 residents and is part of both Marion and Fayette counties. Winfield offers several recreational opportunities, including its annual Mule Day celebration, the Pastime Theatre, and a 60-acre municipal park.
